A Historical Repeat

The 72nd TEFLIN International Conference 2026 at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, marks a significant historical repeat. Nearly two decades ago, the 55th TEFLIN International Conference was also hosted by the English Education Department, Faculty of Educational Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

That landmark event took place on 4 - 6 December, 2007, under the theme "Human Resources Development in English Language Teaching." Returning to this venue in 2026 honors that legacy while looking forward to a sustainable future in language education.
