Call for Papers
The Faculty of Educational Sciences at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta invites academics and practitioners to submit their research for the 72nd TEFLIN International Conference, held in conjunction with the 10th ICEMS and the 2nd TESOL Research Colloquium. We welcome innovative, interdisciplinary contributions that explore the latest developments in language education and educational practice. Please strictly adhere to the provided official template to ensure your abstract meets the conference's structural and academic standards.
Scope & Focus
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for one of the following academic events. Please select the appropriate conference or colloquium and follow the submission guidelines provided.
The 72nd TEFLIN International Conference
TEFLIN welcomes studies related to multilingualism, digital and multimodal literacies, artificial intelligence in education, inclusive learning, sustainability, teacher professional development, and emerging pedagogical approaches.
The 10th ICEMS
The conference welcomes abstracts related to curriculum development, educational policy and leadership, religious education, psychology and counselling, language and culture, digital education, environmental studies, assessment, and teacher education.
TESOL Research Colloquium
This colloquium focuses on classroom-based studies and small-scale research related to English language teaching, learning, assessment, and the use of technology in ELT.
Submission Guidelines
Abstract Structure
Abstracts must be written in English and structured as a single paragraph containing the following components:
Introduction: A brief background of the topic.
Aims: The specific objectives or research questions.
Method: A concise description of data collection and analysis.
Results/Findings: A summary of the key outcomes.
Conclusion: The final takeaway or implications of the study.
Keywords: A maximum of 5 words or phrases.
Formatting Specifications
Word Limit: 150 – 250 words.
Title: Times New Roman, 12pt, BOLD UPPERCASE, centred.
Body Text: Times New Roman, 11pt, single-spaced, single-column format.
